Dr. Amy Sigman

Dr. Amy Sigman was the first woman to join Advanced Women’s Healthcare. She is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A native of Montreal, Canada, Dr. Sigman immigrated to Dallas with her family at the age of nine. She attended The Greenhill School and then the Ivy League’s University of Pennsylvania. She returned to Dallas to study medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School where she received an academic scholarship and a research award. She completed her training at the prestigious Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Sigman has been featured in D Magazine as one of the best doctors in Dallas on numerous occasions. She prides herself in providing quality and compassionate care to her patients from the teenage years through menopause.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, Gavin, and two girls, Leah and Ava, who attend Dallas’ Akiba Academy. In addition to her degrees and awards, a little known fact is Dr. Sigman played in the high school orchestra with Dixie Chicks star Marty Erwin. Her passion for music is also reflected in her love of the piano.
